At the February 28, 2019 meeting we welcomed Karim Pirani, founder of iBBQ (Interactive Barbecue), which markets tables that incorporate a barbecue that forms the center of social grilling parties; Melanie Capunay and Nichole Merzi from 22nd District of the Agricultural Association who manage events and exhibits at the Del Mar Fairgrounds; Adrienne Hurt from Lakeland Rotary in Minocqua is continuing to avoid the harsh Midwest winters; Clive Gill, who will speak to the club in early summer, stopped by to hear Richard Lederer; Tusu Tusubira and Dorcas Tusubira from Rotary Club of Kampala North and Rotary Club of Kamapla-Sunrise in Uganda were in town for the District 5340 Conference- Tusu is attending the conference on behalf of Rotary International President Barry Rassin. He was also a District Governor in Rotary Year 2006-2007 with Philippe Lamoise.
