We were happy to squeeze in a bit tighter to accommodate 10 members from Encinitas Coastal Rotary Club, who are touring local clubs to meet more Rotarians and see different meeting styles. Encinitas Coastal has one of the coolest fundraisers going: their Ball Drop. A helicopter drops hundreds of golf balls over Encinitas Ranch Golf Course and the balls that land closest to the pin win cash prizes. They’ll also have a silent auction. Funds raised benefit the Griset Clubhouse of the San Dieguito Boys and Girls Club, Lifeline Community Services and Warrior Freedom Foundation.
