We have another cottage build opportunity on November 4 at the Palomar Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Vista. These sleeping cottages are like those we’ve helped build in the past and will be part of the Decelles Unicorn Village that seeks to provide shelter for youth who are at risk of being homeless. We’ll again be working in partnership with the St. James Mission circle.
There are projects for all skill levels. Lunch and snacks will be provided. You may bring your own tools or use those provided. Also bring your own work gloves, hat and your preferred sunscreen. Wear your “Rotary at Work” shirt and in general clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or painted. Check the EVENTS post for details and location. Email Pat Caughey if you have questions.
