In the recent club satisfaction survey, members expressed a desire to undertake more community service projects. New Community Service Committee Chair Tony Villasenor will do his best to help fulfill that desire. In addition to our continued involvement with the CRC Holiday Baskets, San Diego Blood Bank blood drives, Rotarian at Work projects at the San Dieguito River Park and Nativity Prep Academy, supporting the Del Mar Lifeguard surf rescue team, and the holiday party at the Boys and Girls Club of San Dieguito La Colonia Branch, we’ll explore new options such as volunteering with the Casa de Amistad academic programs, the Del Mar Art Center Gallery (newly located on the Coast Highway at 11th street), and partnering with the Del Mar Foundation to serve at their community events.
