Instead of our regular weekly meeting, on April 17, 2024 we joined members of six other Area 4 clubs for the annual 7-way meeting. President Matt Kurth kicked off the club summaries after we enjoyed a music performance by Rotary District 5340 Instrumental Music Competition finalist Caden Jiang (he would win the competition on April 20) and a Keynote Presentation by Daphne Fletcher, President-Elect of Encinitas Rotary Club who spoke about making a documentary film about the Lahaina fire and partnering with Rotary Clubs in Slovenia to get life-saving resources to Ukrainians.
