District 5340 2017-2018

Scott Carr is the new District Governor for District 5340.  He is a Past President of Rotary Club of San Diego Downtown Breakfast, served as Chief of Staff for District 5340 Governor Louise Andres in 2014-15 and most recently was Zone Communication Officer for Zones 25 and 26 of Rotary International. Together these two zones include 23 of RI’s 538 districts and cover the western regions of the United States and Canada, home to 1,300 clubs and 60,000 members. 

Scott is CEO of Javelin Web and Media, which helps professionals promote themselves through a variety of traditional and online media. In addition to Rotary, he works with the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP), Senior Community Centers of San Diego, KPBS Radio Reading Service, Sepsis Alliance, and Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
