Sunset High School Interact club Art Up event
 

Sunset High School’s newly formed Interact Club, sponsored by the Del Mar Rotary Club and the Seacoast Community Church, is hosting “Art Up” on Thursday, May 25 from 4-7 P.M. at the D St. Bar & Grill in Encinitas.  Sunset High School Interactor liaisons Haylea Minks and Chris Stewart said that the Interactors, along with their faculty mentor Carol Eliel, have been working with the Sunset High School student body to gather art projects that will be sold at the event.  All proceeds from the art sale will benefit Stand Up for Kids, a non-profit organization founded in San Diego in 1990 that uses counseling, mentoring, and life-skills training, in addition to providing outreach centers and housing support, to empower homeless youths to break out of the cycle of poverty and homelessness.
