San Diego River Valley Conservancy

The San Diego River Conservancy (SDRVC) was founded in 1986 and has worked to acquire and restore hundreds of acres of habitat. SDRVC is also nearing completion of the 70-mile Coast to Crest Trail that takes hikers from Del Mar’s North Beach to Volcan Mountain near Julian.  More than half of this trail is already open for public use.

A Bay Area native, Trish Boaz joined SDRVC in 2013 and currently serves as Executive Director. She brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in environmental conservation and builds on her previous successes while working for the County Department of Planning and Development Services and the San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation. She also managed the County Trails Program that was critical for linking many San Diego county trails.
